2 cups Italian style breadcrumbs
20 ounces cheese ravioli (about 24 ravioli)
¼ cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
9 ounces marinara sauce, heated, for dipping

  • Crispy Fried Cheese Ravioli

    1. Preheat a large frying pan over medium heat with enough olive oil to reach a depth of 2 inches.
    2. Heat the oil until a deep-fry thermometer registers 325°F (163°C).
    3. Prepare two separate shallow bowls, one with buttermilk and the other with Italian style breadcrumbs.
    4. Working in batches, coat each cheese ravioli completely in buttermilk, allowing excess to drip back into the bowl.
    5. Dredge the buttermilk-coated ravioli in breadcrumbs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
