A delightful and sweet chutney made with grated radish, carrots, and a blend of spices, perfect to accompany appetizers or pakoras.

Ingredients

1 cup Grated radish
½ cup Grated carrots
1 12 cups Sugar
1 tablespoon Red chili flakes, adjust according to heat preference
Salt to taste
2 Cloves of garlic, finely chopped or grated
2 tablespoons Corn starch
1 teaspoon White distilled vinegar

Instructions

    1. Begin by combining the grated radish, carrots, and all other ingredients in a deep pot or pan over medium heat with one cup of water.
    2. Stir occasionally and cook until all the sugar has dissolved and the mixture has thickened slightly.
    3. Transfer the chutney into a sterilized jar and store for up to a year. This chutney pairs well with appetizers, pakoras, and makes a wonderful gift.
    4. For extra flavor, consider adding roasted cumin seeds or cumin powder, according to your preference.
