Salmon Fillets with Herb Sauce

Ingredients

1 | tablespoon butter |
1 | salt and pepper |
1 | cup mayonnaise |
1 | tablespoon parsley |
1⁄2 | teaspoon dill |
1 | lemon wedge |
1 | green onion, finely chopped, using just the green parts |
Instructions
1. | Begin by cutting the salmon fillet into 4 serving pieces. Place the large side of the fillet towards the edge of a Pyrex baking dish, leaving the center open. Pierce the fish, dot with butter, and cover the dish with plastic wrap. |

2. | Microwave the dish on Medium power (50%) for 5 minutes. |
3. | In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, parsley, onion, and dill to prepare the herb sauce. |
4. | Spread the prepared mayonnaise mixture on top of the salmon fillets. Microwave the dish on Medium power (50%) covered for 5-6 minutes until the fish is cooked through. |
5. | Garnish the dish with lemon wedges before serving. |
6. | If using salmon steaks, arrange them with the thinner ends towards the center of the dish. |
7. | For one-inch steaks, microwave them for 5 minutes at medium power, then cover them with the herb sauce and microwave for an additional 5-6 minutes before serving. |
