1 1/2 | teaspoons sage |
1 | teaspoon dried thyme |
1/2 | teaspoon pepper |
1/2 | teaspoon marjoram |
2 | (14 ounce) cans low sodium chicken broth |
2 | eggs, beaten |
Instructions

For the dressing
- In a skillet, melt the butter and sauté the onions, celery, and fresh parsley until fragrant.
- Pour the sautéed mixture over the slightly dry bread cubes in a very large mixing bowl.
- Add the poultry seasoning, salt, sage, thyme, pepper, and marjoram, then toss everything together well.
- Pour in the low sodium chicken broth and the beaten eggs, mixing everything together thoroughly.
- Lightly pack the mixture into the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on high for 45 minutes, then reduce the heat to low and continue cooking for 4-8 hours, as crock pots may vary in cooking times.
