Tequila Lime Shrimp Saute
A delightful and flavorful shrimp dish cooked with tequila, lime, and cilantro.
Ingredients
2 | tablespoons olive oil |
---|---|
1 | tablespoon minced fresh garlic (or to taste) |
1⁄2 | teaspoon dried chipotle powder |
1 | lb medium uncooked shrimp |
3 | tablespoons butter |
2 | tablespoons tequila |
1 | tablespoon fresh lime juice |
1 | tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped |

Instructions
1. | Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. |

2. | Sauté minced garlic and dried chipotle powder in the skillet for about 1 minute. |
3. | Add medium uncooked shrimp, butter, and tequila to the skillet. Cook for approximately 3 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink. |
4. | Finish by stirring in fresh lime juice and chopped cilantro. |
