Cajun Spiced Pecans

A delightful and flavorful snack of pecan halves coated in a blend of Cajun spices.

Ingredients

4 cups pecan halves
12 cup butter
3 tablespoons A.1. Original Sauce
6 dashes Tabasco sauce
Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning, pretend the T and C are capitalized

Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
    2. In a bowl, melt the butter in the microwave. Stir in the A.1. Original Sauce and dashes of Tabasco sauce. Add the pecan halves and mix thoroughly.
    3. Pour the pecan mixture onto a jellyroll pan (cookie sheet with sides) and shake to distribute evenly.
    4. Bake in the 200-degree oven for 40 to 50 minutes. Stir the pecans every 10 minutes for even baking.
    5. Remove the pecans from the oven and drain on paper towels.
    6. Sprinkle the pecans fairly generously with Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning.
    7. Allow the pecans to cool completely before storing them in an airtight container or ziplock bags.
