Cajun Spiced Pecans
A delightful and flavorful snack of pecan halves coated in a blend of Cajun spices.
Ingredients
4 | cups pecan halves |
---|---|
1⁄2 | cup butter |
3 | tablespoons A.1. Original Sauce |
6 | dashes Tabasco sauce |
Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning, pretend the T and C are capitalized |
Instructions
1. | Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. |

2. | In a bowl, melt the butter in the microwave. Stir in the A.1. Original Sauce and dashes of Tabasco sauce. Add the pecan halves and mix thoroughly. |
3. | Pour the pecan mixture onto a jellyroll pan (cookie sheet with sides) and shake to distribute evenly. |
4. | Bake in the 200-degree oven for 40 to 50 minutes. Stir the pecans every 10 minutes for even baking. |
5. | Remove the pecans from the oven and drain on paper towels. |
6. | Sprinkle the pecans fairly generously with Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning. |
7. | Allow the pecans to cool completely before storing them in an airtight container or ziplock bags. |
