18 cups fresh-cut sweet corn (about 36 ears)
2 cups half-and-half cream
1 cup butter
1 tablespoon salt (white or seasoned)
1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper, to taste (optional)

Instructions

  • Preparation

    1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
    2. Generously butter an extra-large baking dish that can hold all the corn.
    3. Process half of the corn in a food processor until creamy.
    4. Transfer the creamy corn to the prepared baking dish.
