2 ears fresh white corn on the cob
1 teaspoon sugar
4 teaspoons light margarine

Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
    2. Gently peel down the husks on the corn, removing the silks.
    3. In a large pot, place the corn and sprinkle with sugar. Cover the corn with cold water and let it soak for 10 minutes.
    4. Carefully pull the husks back up to cover the corn, then tie them closed with kitchen twine.
    5. Arrange the ears of corn directly on the oven rack and bake for 20 minutes.
    6. Remove the husks, dot the corn with margarine, and serve hot.
