2 cups graham cracker crumbs
12 cup margarine, melted
4 tablespoons sugar
2 packages cream cheese, softened
1 lb sifted powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 -5 bananas, sliced
1 can pineapple, drained
1 carton Cool Whip
1 cup pecans, finely chopped
maraschino cherry, drained and cut in half

Instructions

  • For Creating the Cheesecake

    1. Combine graham cracker crumbs with melted margarine and sugar in a mixing bowl. Press the mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, forming a crust that slightly extends up the sides of the dish.
    2. Chill the crust in the refrigerator for 45 minutes.
    3. In a separate bowl, blend the softened cream cheese with sifted powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract.
    4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
