1 lb yellow squash, sliced ½ inch thick
1 sweet onion, chopped
2 tablespoons margarine
12 teaspoon seasoned pepper (such as Lawry's)
1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions

1. In a wire steamer basket, combine sliced yellow squash and chopped sweet onion. Place the basket over gently boiling water, cover, and let them steam.
2. Steam for 10-12 minutes, or until the squash is fork-tender. Remove the steamed squash and onion to a large serving dish.
