For the haddock fillets

1 lb haddock fillet
1 slightly beaten egg
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon melted butter
2 tablespoons minced blanched almonds
1 medium minced onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

For preparing the haddock

1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. In a bowl, combine the beaten egg with low-fat milk.
3. In a separate bowl, mix breadcrumbs, oregano, salt, and pepper. Dip the haddock fillets into the egg/milk mixture, then coat them with the breadcrumbs mixture.
4. Arrange the coated haddock fillets side-by-side in a greased baking pan.

For baking and serving
