2 | eggs |
120 | grams flour |
150 | milliliters milk |
30 | milliliters vegetable oil |
1 | dash salt |
1 | pepper |
2 | onions |
1 | carrot |
200 | grams sour cream |
200 | grams cream |
2 | cloves garlic cloves |
Preparing the Liver Pancake Cake | |
---|---|
1. | Blend the liver until smooth. Add eggs, along with a dash of salt and pepper, and blend until well mixed. |
2. | Incorporate the flour, milk and oil into the liver mixture. Blend until a smooth, lump-free pancake-like batter forms. |
3. | Heat a pan on medium heat and lightly coat with oil. Cook each liver pancake for approximately 2 minutes per side. Set aside to cool. |
4. | Peel and slice the onions to form half-rings. Grate the carrot. Sauté the onions and carrots until tender, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. |
5. | For the sauce, whip the cream until it thickens and then stir in the sour cream. Add salt, pepper and finely minced garlic. Thoroughly mix. |
6. | Spread a portion of the garlic sauce on each liver pancake. Layer with sautéed onions and carrots before topping with the next pancake. Continue this process until all pancakes are used. For optimal flavor development, refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. |
7. | Slice just as you would a traditional cake, and enjoy this Savory Iron-Rich Liver Cake! |
