1 Asian pear
1 14 soy sauce
34 cup sugar
1 onion, roughly chopped
4 green onions, chopped
5 garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
3 tablespoons sesame seeds
14 cup sesame oil
5 LA-style beef short ribs (short ribs cut thinly and across the bone, ¼-inch thick)

Instructions

    1. Begin by grating the large Fuji apple and Asian pear into a spacious bowl, ensuring to collect all the flavorful juices.
    2. Combine the soy sauce, sugar, roughly chopped onion, minced garlic, minced ginger, sesame seeds, and sesame oil in the bowl, mixing thoroughly to create the marinade.
    3. Introduce the LA-style beef short ribs to the marinade, ensuring each rib is impeccably coated. Allow the meat to marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 12 hours, enhancing the flavor. For optimal taste, marinate for up to 24 hours.
    4. If grilling, cook the ribs for 5 to 7 minutes until the meat achieves a delectable brown hue. Serve immediately while hot.
