2 | ounces coarsely grated extra-sharp cheddar cheese |
1 1⁄2 | tablespoons chopped fresh dill |
3⁄4 | cup whole-milk plain yogurt |
1⁄3 | cup whole milk |
Instructions

For preparing the dough
- Put the oven rack in the middle position and preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a food processor, pulse together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- Add the cold unsalted butter pieces and pulse until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
- Next, add the coarsely grated extra-sharp cheddar cheese and chopped fresh dill. Pulse until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the whole-milk plain yogurt and whole milk. Add this mixture to the food processor and pulse until the dough just starts to come together.
- Using a spoon, place 12 (1/4-cup) mounds of dough about 2 inches apart on an ungreased large baking sheet. Bake until the biscuits are puffed and pale golden, for about 12 to 15 minutes.
