1 | white pearl onions, drained |
1 | tomatoes |
1 | peas, drained |
1 | green beans, drained |
1 | small whole potatoes, drained |
1 | beef consomme (only use ½ can) |
1 | cup quick-cooking tapioca |
1 | teaspoon brown sugar |
1 | cup fine dry breadcrumb |
1 | bay leaf |
1 | cup dry white wine |

Instructions

- Preheat the oven to 250°F.
- In a large casserole dish, combine the stew meat, diced carrots, white pearl onions, tomatoes, peas, green beans, small whole potatoes, beef consomme (using only half of the can), quick-cooking tapioca, brown sugar, fine dry breadcrumbs, bay leaf, dry white wine, salt, and pepper.
- Cover the casserole dish and cook in the preheated oven for 6 to 7 hours, or until the meat is tender and the flavors have melded together perfectly.
