   Classic Beef Stew
A hearty and comforting beef stew that is slow-cooked to perfection, resulting in tender meat and flavorful vegetables.
Ingredients
| 3 | lbs stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes |

| 1 | diced carrots, drained | 
| 1 | white pearl onions, drained | 
| 1 | tomatoes | 
| 1 | peas, drained | 
| 1 | green beans, drained | 
| 1 | small whole potatoes, drained | 
| 1 | beef consomme (only use ½ can) | 
| 1 | cup quick-cooking tapioca | 
| 1 | teaspoon brown sugar | 
| 1 | cup fine dry breadcrumb | 
| 1 | bay leaf | 
| 1 | cup dry white wine |

Instructions
| 1. | Preheat the oven to 250°F. |

| 2. | In a large casserole dish, combine the stew meat, diced carrots, white pearl onions, tomatoes, peas, green beans, small whole potatoes, beef consomme (using only half of the can), quick-cooking tapioca, brown sugar, fine dry breadcrumbs, bay leaf, dry white wine, salt, and pepper. | 
| 3. | Cover the casserole dish and cook in the preheated oven for 6 to 7 hours, or until the meat is tender and the flavors have melded together perfectly. |
