3 | leeks, white part only, cut into ½ inch pieces |
Instructions

For preparing Yakitori Chicken
- Combine sake, soy sauce, sugar, crushed garlic, and grated ginger in a medium dish. Add cubed chicken and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven's broiler.
- Grease six metal skewers and thread with 3 pieces of chicken and 2 pieces of leek alternately.
- Place the skewers on a baking sheet or broiling pan, brush with the marinade.
- Broil for about 5 minutes, baste with marinade, then broil for another 5 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked. Discard any remaining marinade.
