1 (1 ounce) package Italian salad dressing mix
1 cup water

Instructions

  • For the pot roast

    1. Trim the chuck roast of any excessive fat.
    2. Place the chuck roast in the crock pot.
    3. Sprinkle the dry Italian dressing mix over the meat.
    4. Add water to the crock pot.
    5. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
    6. Use 2 forks to separate and shred the meat.
    7. Serve with mashed potatoes, vegetables, and crispy rolls.
