Recipe

Three ingredients and eight hours: a chuck roast, a packet of Italian salad dressing mix and water go in together, and the long, slow cook does everything else — breaking the beef down until it shreds while the herbs in the mix turn the braising liquid into a ready-made jus. Eight servings, near-zero effort, and honest about both.
