3 tablespoons oil
1 (4 lb) beef chuck roast
fresh ground black pepper (to taste)
2 teaspoons garlic powder (or to taste)
1 ounce (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1 12 cups cups low sodium beef broth (use only low-sodium broth)
1 tablespoon -2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 large onion, chopped
3 carrots, peeled and coarsely chopped
3 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
8 ounces small white button mushrooms (leave whole do not slice, can use more)

Instructions

For Chuck Roast
