⅓ | cup Green onion |
¾ | cup Grated carrot |
1 | Egg |
2 | tablespoons Maple syrup |
2 | Garlic |
1 | teaspoon Dried, rubbed sage |
1 | teaspoon Salt (or to taste) |
1 | teaspoon Sesame seed (for garnish) |
Instructions
1. | Begin by whisking the egg in a small bowl until well scrambled. Set aside. |

2. | Heat two tablespoons of sesame oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat, ensuring it is hot but not smoking. |
3. | Add the grated carrot and green onion to the pan, creating space to pour the scrambled egg in a thin layer. Use a fork to gently separate the egg into small pieces as it cooks. |
4. | Stir in the maple syrup, followed by the sage and garlic. Continuously stir to prevent the garlic from burning. |
5. | Fold in the cooked brown rice and the roasted turkey. Season with salt to taste. Serve and enjoy! |
