A delicious pasta dish with flavorful ground round and pizza sauce, topped with melted sharp cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

12 lb ground round
12 cup bottled pizza sauce
18 teaspoon salt
18 teaspoon pepper
1 cup hot large cooked elbow macaroni, cooked without salt and fat (about 2 ozs uncooked)
2 tablespoons shredded reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

    1. In a small nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground round until browned, stirring constantly to crumble the meat.
    2. Drain any excess fat and return the cooked meat to the skillet.
    3. Add the bottled pizza sauce, salt, and pepper to the skillet; cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    4. Stir in the hot cooked elbow macaroni and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
    5. Serve the pasta hot and sprinkle each serving with shredded reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese.
