Pizza Pasta with Ground Round

1⁄2 | cup bottled pizza sauce |
1⁄8 | teaspoon salt |
1⁄8 | teaspoon pepper |
1 | cup hot large cooked elbow macaroni, cooked without salt and fat (about 2 ozs uncooked) |
2 | tablespoons shredded reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese |
Instructions

- In a small nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground round until browned, stirring constantly to crumble the meat.
- Drain any excess fat and return the cooked meat to the skillet.
- Add the bottled pizza sauce, salt, and pepper to the skillet; cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the hot cooked elbow macaroni and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve the pasta hot and sprinkle each serving with shredded reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese.
