Apple and Cranberry Bread Pudding

Instructions

- Begin by peeling, coring, and thinly slicing the apples. Toss the slices with lemon juice and cinnamon. Heat butter in a pan over medium heat and sauté the apples until softened. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and honey granules until well combined. Add the half-and-half, orange zest, and vanilla. Mix in the bread cubes and cranberries, allowing them to soak up the custard for 15 minutes before incorporating the cooled apples.
- Preheat the oven to 325°F. Transfer the mixture into a buttered soufflé pan and place it in a roasting pan. Pour boiling water into the roasting pan, filling it halfway up the sides of the soufflé pan. Bake for approximately 1 hour until set.
