1 | egg, lightly beaten |
Instructions
For mushroom caps | |

1. | Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F). |
2. | Line a 13x11 inch oven tray with foil and grease the foil. |
3. | Remove the stalks from the mushroom caps and finely chop them. |
4. | Arrange the mushroom caps on the tray. |
5. | Heat olive oil in a frying pan, then add the bacon. |
6. | Cook the bacon over medium heat for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. |
7. | Add the chopped mushroom stems to the pan. |
8. | Cook over high heat for 2 minutes, then remove the pan from the heat. |
9. | Transfer the bacon and mushroom mixture to a medium bowl. |
10. | Add breadcrumbs, crushed garlic, chopped spring onions, grated parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, and beaten egg to the bowl. Stir until combined using a wooden spoon. |
