Ingredients

6 apples, cored almost through the apple 1 inch wide hole.
12 cup walnuts, chopped
14 cup raisins, soaked in
dark rum, to cover
12 teaspoon cinnamon
14 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons butter

Instructions

1. Mix nuts, strained raisins reserving the rum, cinnamon, and sugar ingredients, stuff into apples.
2. Place into a shallow baking dish that's greased with butter.
3. Pour remaining rum on apples.
4. Dot each apple with 1/2 tablespoon butter.
5. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
6. Till fork tender.
7. Serve hot with a side of vanilla ice cream.
