3 fresh blueberries, divided
2 (15 ¾ ounce) cans lemon pie filling
2 (8 ounce) cartons lemon yogurt
1 prepared angel food cake, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 (8 ounce) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed (homemade whipped cream recommended)
lemon slice (optional)
fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  • For Blueberry Lemon Trifle

    1. Begin by setting aside 1/4 cup of fresh blueberries for garnishing. In a large bowl, gently combine the lemon pie filling and lemon yogurt.
    2. In a 3-1/2 quart serving dish or trifle bowl, create layers by alternating a third of the angel food cake cubes, lemon mixture, and fresh blueberries. Repeat these layers twice, ending with a final layer of whipped topping. Cover the trifle and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld together.
