1 cup blanched hazelnuts
14 cup powdered sugar (you can use honey or maple syrup)
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons canola, walnut or peanut oil

Instructions

1. Start by grinding the hazelnuts in a food processor until creamy. This process usually takes 5-10 minutes, and be sure to scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl to ensure even blending.
2. Next, add the powdered sugar and cocoa powder to the processor and mix until well combined. Scrape down the sides and continue blending.
3. While the food processor is still running, slowly incorporate the oil. Process for an additional minute, then transfer the spread to a serving container or storage jar.
4. This chocolate hazelnut spread can be stored at room temperature for 4-5 days – though it's so delicious, it likely won't last that long!
