A delectable treat that combines the warmth of cinnamon with the richness of a classic Bundt cake.

Ingredients

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 cup white sugar
2 ½ all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 cup white sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
3 eggs, at room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup full-fat sour cream, at room temperature

Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
    2. In a small bowl, combine ground cinnamon and white sugar. Mix thoroughly and set aside.
    3. Prepare a 9-inch Bundt pan by generously greasing it to ensure every part is covered. Dust the entire inside of the pan with the cinnamon sugar mixture, ensuring even coverage including the center tube. Save the remaining mixture for later.
    4. In a separate bowl, sift together all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and kosher salt. Set aside.
    5. In a mixing bowl, beat the room temperature unsalted butter on medium speed for one minute. Add white sugar and continue mixing for 3 minutes until light and fluffy. Then, add the light brown sugar and mix for another 2 minutes until the mixture is light brown and uniform in color.
    6. Add the eggs one at a time, beating each for 1 minute. Stir in vanilla extract. Alternately add the flour mixture and full-fat sour cream, beating well.
    7. Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle a portion of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter. Add the remaining batter and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
    8. Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Let it cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.
