Citrus-Glazed Barbecued Pork Loin

Ingredients
2 | ounces canola oil |

1 | large onion, chopped |
4 | cloves garlic, chopped |
1 | chipotle pepper, chopped |
1 | arbol chile, steam removed |
1 | tablespoon cracked black pepper |
2 | tablespoons Worcestershire sauce |
2 | cups orange juice |
2 | cups of your favorite barbecue sauce |
6 | dashes hot sauce |
2 | lemons (juice of) |
3 | lbs pork loin |
4 | tablespoons olive oil |
2 | tablespoons kosher salt |
2 | tablespoons cracked black pepper |
Instructions
1. | Begin by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. |

2. | In a small saucepot, heat canola oil and sauté onions and garlic until translucent. |
3. | Add finely chopped chipotle pepper and arbol chilies, and continue cooking until the chilies start to toast. |
4. | Sprinkle in cracked black pepper, then deglaze the pot with Worcestershire sauce and orange juice. Allow the mixture to reduce until it starts to thicken. |
5. | Next, stir in your favorite barbecue sauce, lower the heat, and let it simmer for approximately 15 minutes. |
6. | Season the sauce with dashes of hot sauce, lemon juice, and salt to taste. Strain the barbecue sauce and set it aside. |
7. | On a large sheet pan, rub the pork loin with olive oil and season generously with salt and cracked pepper. |
8. | Roast the pork loin in the 350-degree oven, basting it with the citrus glaze every 15 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches about 140 degrees. |
9. | Remove the pork from the oven and allow it to rest for approximately 5 minutes. Slice the meat, serve, and enjoy! |
