This apple crisp uses tender fresh apples under a buttery oat streusel, baked until the fruit bubbles and the topping turns crisp. It moves the former microwave shortcut closer to the classic dessert while keeping the recipe simple enough for a weeknight.

| 1. | Heat the oven to 350°F and butter a 9 by 13 inch baking dish. |
