Ingredients

1 12 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
12 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
12 cup granulated sugar
12 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
1 34 cups NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Milk Chocolate Morsels

Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
    2. In a small bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and baking soda. In a large mixer bowl, beat together the softened butter, creamy or chunky peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy. Add the egg and beat well. Gradually beat in the flour mixture. Stir in the NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Milk Chocolate Morsels.
    3. Drop the cookie dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Lightly press down on each cookie with the bottom of a glass dipped in granulated sugar.
    4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 4 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
    5. For a Pan Cookie Variation:
    6. Prepare the dough as instructed above. Spread the dough into an ungreased 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes. Cool in the pan on a wire rack.
