Classic Ravioli Lasagna

A delicious and simple twist on traditional lasagna, using cheese ravioli for a quicker weeknight meal.

Ingredients

1 (26 ounce) jar pasta sauce with mushrooms
2 (13 ounce) bags square cheese ravioli, thawed
1 ½ cups shredded Italian cheese blend

Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
    2. Grease a 9-inch square baking dish and a sheet of foil with non-stick spray.
    3. Place the pasta sauce in a bowl and stir in 1/2 cup of water.
    4. Spread 1 cup of the sauce in the prepared dish.
    5. Arrange 20 ravioli in the dish, with the flat sides up and just touching each other.
    6. Spread 3/4 cup of sauce over the ravioli and sprinkle with 1/2 cup of shredded cheese.
    7. Repeat the layers once.
    8. Top with the remaining ravioli, sauce, and cheese, creating a total of 3 layers.
    9. Cover the dish tightly with foil, making sure the sprayed side is down or use Release foil.
    10. Place the dish on a foil-lined baking sheet to catch any drips and bake for 1 hour, or until the edges are bubbly.
    11. Uncover the dish and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is barely golden.
    12. To Freeze: Transfer the lasagna to a rigid container and freeze.
    13. To Reheat: Microwave on medium power until heated through. Note that additional sauce may be needed when reheating.
