1 wide egg noodles (8 ounce)
2 cups small curd cottage cheese
1 12 cups sour cream
12 cup white sugar
12 cup raisins
3 large eggs, beaten
12 teaspoon salt
14 teaspoon ground cinnamon
18 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  • Preparing the Kugel

    1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
    2. In a large pot, bring lightly salted water to a rapid boil. Cook the wide egg noodles until al dente, approximately 7 to 9 minutes. Drain the noodles.
    3. In a large bowl, combine small curd cottage cheese, sour cream, white sugar, raisins, beaten eggs, salt, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Mix well before adding in the cooked noodles. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
    4. Bake the kugel uncovered in the preheated oven until the top turns a beautiful golden brown, approximately 40 minutes.
