3 quarts freshly popped corn
1 cup sliced almonds
1 cup packed light brown sugar
14 cup honey
12 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    1. Transfer freshly popped corn into a large, shallow roasting pan, and evenly sprinkle sliced almonds over the corn.
    2. In a 1-quart saucepan, melt butter or margarine; then stir in honey and packed light brown sugar.
    3. Cook the mixture over medium heat until it comes to a boil; then let it simmer without stirring for 5 minutes.
    4. Remove the saucepan from heat, stir in vanilla extract, and pour the mixture over the popped corn and almonds. Mix well until fully coated.
    5. Bake the mixture at 250°F for 1 hour, stirring thoroughly every 15 minutes.
    6. Once out of the oven, continue stirring as the mixture cools. This step prevents the popcorn from clumping and ensures a professional appearance.
