Instructions

For Chicken Tostadas

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. In a frying pan over medium heat, cook the diced chicken until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 5 to 7 minutes. Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C) using an instant-read thermometer.
3. Spread a thin layer of refried beans on each tostada shell, followed by a sprinkling of Mexican cheese blend. Divide the cooked chicken evenly on top of the cheese layer. Sprinkle diced tomato, red onion, and green bell pepper over each tostada. Arrange the tostadas on a baking sheet.
4. Bake in the preheated oven until the tostadas are crispy, about 10 to 15 minutes.
5. Once out of the oven, garnish the tostadas with chopped cilantro, and top with salsa and sour cream as desired.
