Pork (beef) tongue, becomes a protein-rich treat for you when it's simmered to tender perfection with onions, aromatic garlic, and a dash of bay leaf, then sautéed in rich butter. The result? A deliciously succulent and unique meat offering a texture and flavor that will make your taste buds dance!

| 1. | Combine the beef (pork) tongue, onion, garlic, and bay leaf in a pot, seasoning with salt. Pour in sufficient water to fully cover the beef mixture. |

| 2. | Allow this combination to cook on Low heat for a duration of 3 hours. |
| 3. | Set the cooked beef (pork) tongue on a work surface to cool. Once comfortable to handle, peel off its outer skin layer and cut off the rough end. |
| 4. | Dice the meat into bite-sized chunks. You can already eat the meat, just season it with salt and pepper. |
| 5. | But if you want to add more flavour .... Add butter to a skillet and heat over medium. Sauté the chopped meat, stirring continuously until tender, which should take around 5 to 10 minutes. Season it with additional salt and pepper. Ready to serve! |
