- Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool for 5 minutes. Stir well to combine.
- Allow the mixture to cool for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- After an additional 5 minutes, gently fold in the neufchatel cheese until fully incorporated.
- Transfer the pudding to a bowl, cover the surface with plastic wrap, and let it set for about an hour.
