Instructions
For Baking the Brownies | |

1. | Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C for fan forced). |
2. | Grease and line a 20cm square cake pan with baking paper, leaving handles on two opposite sides. |
3. | In a medium heavy-based saucepan, melt the dark chocolate and butter over low heat until smooth. Stir in the sugar. |
4. | Cool slightly, then add in the eggs, white chocolate chips, and vanilla essence. |
5. | Sift the flour and cocoa over the chocolate mixture, stirring until well combined. |
6. | Pour the mixture into the prepared pan, smoothing the surface, and bake for 25 minutes or until set. |
7. | Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan to firm up. |
8. | Using the paper handles, remove the brownie from the pan, cut into 16 pieces, and serve dusted with icing sugar. |
