For baking the peach crumble
- Prepare in advance: If you only have plain instant oat packets, simply adjust the cinnamon and nutmeg to your liking.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease an 8x8 baking dish with butter.
- Arrange the drained peach halves in the baking dish. In a bowl, combine the oats, flour, chopped nuts, and melted butter until crumbly. Sprinkle this mixture over the peaches.
- Bake for about 15 minutes or until the crumble topping turns golden brown.
