| 1 | cup finely chopped walnuts |

| 1⁄2 | pound chicken livers | 
| 2 | tablespoons minced onion | 
| 3 | tablespoons butter | 
| 1⁄4 | teaspoon curry powder | 
| 1⁄4 | teaspoon sweet paprika | 
| 1⁄2 | teaspoon salt | 
| 1⁄2 | teaspoon pepper | 
| 1⁄4 | cup chicken broth | 
| 16 | ounces cream cheese | 
| 1. | Lightly toast walnuts and set aside. |

| 2. | Sauté chicken livers and onions in butter over medium heat for about 5 minutes. | 
| 3. | Add curry powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and chicken broth. Cool slightly. | 
| 4. | Place this mixture in a food processor and process until smooth. | 
| 5. | Beat the softened cream cheese in a large bowl. | 
| 6. | Combine cream cheese with the chicken liver mixture. | 
| 7. | Stir in walnuts and chill for 5-6 hours to blend flavors. | 
| 8. | Serve in a chilled crock with your choice of crackers, breads, or toasts. |
