Ingredients

1 cup finely chopped walnuts
12 pound chicken livers
2 tablespoons minced onion
3 tablespoons butter
14 teaspoon curry powder
14 teaspoon sweet paprika
12 teaspoon salt
12 teaspoon pepper
14 cup chicken broth
16 ounces cream cheese

Instructions

1. Lightly toast walnuts and set aside.
2. Sauté chicken livers and onions in butter over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
3. Add curry powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and chicken broth. Cool slightly.
4. Place this mixture in a food processor and process until smooth.
5. Beat the softened cream cheese in a large bowl.
6. Combine cream cheese with the chicken liver mixture.
7. Stir in walnuts and chill for 5-6 hours to blend flavors.
8. Serve in a chilled crock with your choice of crackers, breads, or toasts.
