1⁄2 | pound chicken livers |
2 | tablespoons minced onion |
3 | tablespoons butter |
1⁄4 | teaspoon curry powder |
1⁄4 | teaspoon sweet paprika |
1⁄2 | teaspoon salt |
1⁄2 | teaspoon pepper |
1⁄4 | cup chicken broth |
16 | ounces cream cheese |
Instructions
1. | Lightly toast walnuts and set aside. |

2. | Sauté chicken livers and onions in butter over medium heat for about 5 minutes. |
3. | Add curry powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and chicken broth. Cool slightly. |
4. | Place this mixture in a food processor and process until smooth. |
5. | Beat the softened cream cheese in a large bowl. |
6. | Combine cream cheese with the chicken liver mixture. |
7. | Stir in walnuts and chill for 5-6 hours to blend flavors. |
8. | Serve in a chilled crock with your choice of crackers, breads, or toasts. |
