6 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
1 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon lemon juice
12 teaspoon lemon zest, grated
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
14 teaspoon salt
14 teaspoon nutmeg
1 egg, beaten
12 cup butter, melted and cooled

Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
    2. Arrange the peeled sliced ripe peaches in a greased, shallow 11x7 baking dish.
    3. In a bowl, combine the packed brown sugar, flour, lemon juice, grated lemon zest, and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the peaches.
    4. In another bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. Stir in the beaten egg until the mixture forms coarse crumbs.
    5. Sprinkle the crumb mixture over the peaches in the baking dish.
    6. Evenly drizzle the melted and cooled butter over the crumb topping.
    7. Bake in the preheated oven for 38 minutes or until the crumble is golden and the peaches are tender.
