Instructions

1. | Soak the dried bulgur wheat in a bowl by covering it with a cup of boiling water and letting it sit for about 10 minutes. |
2. | Uncover the bulgur and allow it to cool for a few minutes. |
3. | In a mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, finely chopped onion, chopped garlic, soaked raisins, cumin, cinnamon, allspice, and egg. |
4. | Add the cooled bulgur to the mixture and use your hands to thoroughly combine all ingredients. |
5. | Shape the mixture into balls of golf ball size, then gently flatten them. |
6. | Either bake the lamb kofte in a preheated oven for around 10 minutes or fry them in hot oil until they are browned on all sides. |
7. | Serve the lamb kofte garnished with chopped fresh parsley. |
