3 | tablespoons sriracha hot chili sauce |

1 | tablespoon rice wine vinegar |
1 | teaspoon sugar |
3 | tablespoons sesame oil |
4 | cloves garlic, minced |
1 | tablespoon ginger, minced |
1⁄2 | teaspoon red pepper flakes |
1 | large onion, cut into slivers |
1 | cup sliced red bell pepper |
1 | hot steamed rice |
Instructions

- In a large saucepan, place the lean boneless pork loin, water, soy sauce, slice of ginger, and star anise. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat for 1 hour.
- Remove the pork from the liquid and allow it to cool thoroughly. Then, slice it into thin medallions.
- Combine miso, sriracha hot chili sauce, dry sherry, rice wine vinegar, and sugar in a bowl. Set aside.
- In a wok, stir-fry the minced garlic, minced ginger, and red pepper flakes with sesame oil over high heat for a few seconds. Then, add the slivers of onion and pork slices, and cook for about 1 minute.
- Add the sliced red bell pepper and cook for a few more minutes until the peppers are crisp-tender.
- Pour in the reserved miso sauce mixture and cook until heated through.
