A stunning and delicious cake shaped like a whimsical serpent, perfect for any special occasion.

Ingredients

2 (any flavor you like)
2 white frosting
food coloring
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 red fruit roll-ups or fruit leather
assorted decorative candies

Instructions

    1. Prepare by covering a 40x20 cake board with foil or paper. Cut each bundt cake vertically in half.
    2. Arrange the cake pieces to form a serpentine shape resembling an 'S' on its side. Secure them on the cake board using a small amount of frosting as adhesive.
    3. Color the frosting to your desired hue. A vibrant green is recommended for a snake motif.
    4. Coat the entire length of the cake with the colored frosting, extending halfway down the sides. Additional frosting may be required for full coverage.
    5. In a zip bag, place the chocolate chips and microwave on MEDIUM (50%) power for 20 to 30 seconds. Squish the bag gently, then microwave for an additional 20 seconds or until the chocolate melts.
    6. Snip a corner of the bag and use it to create a diamond pattern along the serpent's back.
    7. Cut the fruit roll-up into a strip with a forked tongue shape at one end. Position it under one end of the cake.
    8. Add decorative candies to create eyes and nostrils for the serpent. Colorful candies like M&M's work well for this purpose.
