1 ½ pounds salmon fillets
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
cup brown sugar
1 pinch salt to taste

Instructions

    1. Combine lemon juice, lemon zest, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and olive oil in a 9x13-inch glass baking dish, stirring until the sugar dissolves, approximately 2 minutes. Place the salmon fillets flesh side down in the marinade, then refrigerate for 30 minutes.
    2. Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
