2 | tablespoons 2 tablespoons rice wine |
1⁄2 | teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon Thai seven-spice powder |
2 | tablespoons 2 tablespoons honey |
1 | tablespoon 1 tablespoon sesame oil |
For the glazed spare ribs | |

1. | Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the spareribs in a wide baking pan, cover loosely with foil, and bake for 30 minutes. |
2. | In a food processor, combine the lemon, orange, ginger, garlic, onion, soy sauce, rice wine, seven-spice powder, honey, and sesame oil. Process until smooth. |
3. | After 30 minutes, remove the foil from the spare ribs and pour off any excess fat. Spoon the pureed mixture over the spare ribs, tossing to coat evenly. |
4. | Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and roast the ribs for about 40 minutes, turning and basting occasionally, until golden brown. Serve hot. |
