Ingredients

1 lb very lean ground pork
2 garlic cloves, crushed
½ cup onion, chopped
½ cup carrot, minced
½ cup green onion, chopped
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
30 lumpia skins (substitute egg roll wrappers if you can't get lumpia skins)
1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

1. Begin by mixing all the ingredients together.
2. Place one tablespoon of the mixture in the center of each lumpia skin and carefully roll it into a cigar shape. Seal the edge of the wrapper by lightly wetting it with your finger.
3. In a wok or deep skillet, heat vegetable oil and fry the lumpia until they are golden brown.
