Instructions

1. Heat olive oil over medium heat in a pan. Add onions and mushrooms and sauté for 2 minutes.
2. Pour in water, cover the pan, and continue cooking over medium heat for 8 minutes. Ensure there is a small amount of water remaining.
3. While the mushrooms are cooking, pulse walnuts in a food processor until finely chopped.
4. Transfer the cooked mushroom and onion mixture into the food processor with the walnuts. Process until smooth.
5. Season the pate with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
