Ingredients

1 cup confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons evaporated milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup butter, softened
½ cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 ¼ all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup raspberry jam

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
2. In a small bowl, combine confectioner's sugar, evaporated milk, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
3. Using an electric mixer, beat softened butter and white sugar in a large bowl until creamy. Add the egg and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. In another bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually incorporate the flour mixture into the creamed mixture, ensuring thorough mixing. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and position them on the prepared baking sheet, making an indentation in the center of each cookie with your finger.
4. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Fill the indentations with raspberry jam and continue baking until they turn lightly brown, for an additional 10 to 15 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool for 2 minutes before transferring to wire racks. Drizzle the confectioner's sugar glaze over the warm cookies and let them cool completely.
