For Brining and Roasting
- Combine Morton Tender Quick salt, brown sugar, liquid smoke, and water. Ensure everything is dissolved and pour the brine over the turkey drumsticks.
- Refrigerate the brined turkey drumsticks in a covered container for 24 to 72 hours.
- After brining, rinse off the brine, pat the turkey drumsticks dry with paper towels, and roast them at 350°F for approximately 45 minutes.
- To achieve a deeper color, increase the oven temperature to 500°F. Roast the drumsticks until they develop a rich mahogany color. Flip them over to roast the other side until browned.
