Spiced Molasses Cookies
These spiced molasses cookies are a delightful treat with a perfect blend of spices. Store them for a couple of days to enhance the flavors and enjoy them at their best.
Ingredients

1 | cup molasses |
4 | cups all-purpose flour |
2 | teaspoons baking soda |

½ | teaspoon ground cloves |
1 | cup milk |
4 | cups semisweet chocolate chips |
1 | cup raisins |
Instructions
1. | Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease cookie sheets. |

2. | In a medium bowl, cream together the softened butter and white sugar until smooth. Stir in the molasses. Combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon, and ground ginger; stir into the molasses mixture alternately with the milk. Finally, mix in the semisweet chocolate chips and raisins. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets. |
3. | Bake for 10 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. |
