Instructions

Preparation and Baking

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large skillet, sauté the ground beef, onion, jalapeño chile, and minced garlic over medium to high heat until the beef is fully cooked, stirring frequently to ensure even cooking. Drain any excess fat.
3. Incorporate the curry powder, dried thyme, turmeric, fresh ground pepper, ground red pepper, and salt into the beef mixture, stirring until well combined.
4. Add the bread crumbs and water to the mixture, stirring until the filling has thickened.
5. Divide the dough into eight rectangles, ensuring to firmly press along the perforations to seal.
6. On one half of each rectangle, place two heaping tablespoons of the beef mixture. Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges to securely seal.
7. Arrange the patties on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until they turn a delightful golden brown.
8. While the patties bake, prepare the salsa by combining all the salsa ingredients in a medium bowl and mixing thoroughly.
9. Serve the warm beef patties alongside the tropical salsa for an exquisite dining experience.
